First Stella Donation 💜

In June 2025, the Stella Supplement team visited Deseret Hospital in Sowutuom, Accra, Ghana, to volunteer at the maternity ward — a space filled with both incredible strength and quiet struggle.

Throughout the day, we interacted with doctors, nurses, and new mothers who had just brought life into the world. Their resilience and dedication moved us deeply, but we also witnessed firsthand the financial and emotional challenges many women face after childbirth.

One story that touched our hearts profoundly was that of a young mother who had delivered her baby days earlier but couldn’t afford to settle her hospital bill to be discharged. Her worry was visible — torn between the joy of welcoming new life and the burden of financial strain.

We were humbled to step in and cover her full bill, ensuring she and her baby could finally go home together. Along with that, we provided essential items — including newborn clothing, nappies, wipes, and other baby supplies — as a small gesture of care and solidarity.
